We are seeking an experienced Buyer in Nashua to manage procurement activities, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely order fulfillment while maintaining cost control and inventory accuracy.
What you'll do: - Coordinate and facilitate procurement and supply activities according to predefined protocols or procedures.
- Handle procurement requests and orders, including negotiation with suppliers to reduce costs.
- Issuing purchase orders to vendors and updating supply schedules for equipment.
- Tracking the arrival or purchase orders in the organization's warehouses through an organizational system.
- Interfacing within and outside the organization.
- Track orders, Process Invoices, ensure cost control.
- Monitor Inventory levels & ensure timely order placements.
- Maintain accurate records of order, costs and vendor information.
- Negotiating in financial scopes that is insignificant for the organization.
- Maintain work interfaces with Intra-Organizational units i.e.: engineering, production, quality control, logistics, and finance.
- Coordinate with Internal departments to understand Purchasing requirements.
- Analyze and issue control reports through ERP systems.
- Independently solves complex professional problems.
What you must have: - 3-5 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Strong Organizational & time-management skills.
- Excellent Communication & negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, Knowledge of ERP system is required (NetSuite, an advantage).
- Responsible for analyzing, organizing, and presenting data using advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data filtering, to support decision-making and reporting.
Education: - Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
