Base-2 Solutions seeks a high-energy Director of Business Development for DIA, responsible for developing growth strategies, managing pursuits, and expanding existing business within the Military Intelligence community. The role involves strategic planning, managing bid resources, target identification, and customer relations. Job Responsibilities Demonstrated success in growing DIA and other DoD/IC business. Grow and qualify the opportunity pipeline through timely identification of new business opportunities. Support development of growth plans aligned with strategic goals. Develop internal relationships and drive growth through collaboration. Obtain market intelligence and develop marketing strategies. Participate in bid decisions, gate reviews, and cost strategies. Conduct customer visits and research to understand needs. Establish and maintain customer relationships and assess competitor capabilities. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of relevant experience, or additional experience in lieu of a degree. Proven success with full lifecycle business development in defense/IC sectors. Effective communicator at all levels. Deep understanding of DIA and IC customer missions and strategies. 10+ years leadership experience in IC, defense, or government services. Experience leading opportunity captures >$50 million. Ability to establish and use customer relationships with senior officials. Knowledge of government contracting and acquisition trends. Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to executives. Manage a pipeline exceeding $250M. Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
