Fire Alarm / Nurse Call Technician
We are seeking a Fire Alarm Technician with computer experience for industrial work in fire / life / safety, knowledgeable in electrical fundamentals, strong problem solving and analytical skills, and proficient in computers and programming. The candidate must have their own tools and show a dedicated work ethic.

What you’ll do:

• Service Hospitals and Skilled Nursing facilities for issued related to fire life safety.
• Troubleshoot fire alarm systems related to wiring, relays, water damage, programming issues, code changes, or patient damages.
• Install new Fire Alarm Systems dictated on state approved plans.
• Repair and install Nurse Call systems (Will Train)
• Perform and assist with inspections with Fire Marshalls, Area Compliance Officers and/or Inspectors of Record.
• Remedy any corrections required by HCAI officials in order to be in compliance with building and state codes.
• Communicate and report to Field Supervisor, Project Manager, & Lead Designer
• Represent our company and communicate with HCAI officials, Fire Marshall's, Inspectors, Architects and Clients.
• Certify installations are within working order.
• Work available throughout California.
• Monitor inventory of service parts.

Our ideal candidate:

Education and Experience

• 2 years programming experience
• Understanding and experience in low voltage systems.
• Computer panel trouble shooting proficiency
• Valid JW card (preferred)
• OSHA certified (preferred)
• Working knowledge of relays and basic electrical
• Bilingual/Multi-lingual (preferred)
• Reliable transportation
• Manufacturer training Certification (preferred)

• Ability to meet schedules
• Emergency repair call availability
• Detail oriented
• Clear communication
• Work throughout Southern California and Northern California Area
• Proactive problem-solver
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Can take direction well and work independently
• Take initiative to resolve issues
• Interact with customers in a professional workmanlike manner.

• Competitive salary range $21-54 per hr depending on qualifications
• We offer competitive health benefits. We cover up to $527 per employee per month for medical insurance.
