Independently-owned restaurant seeks to hire a motivated individual to fill a Front of House Manager role. This individual should possess knowledge in regards to basic restaurant management as well as being able to communicate well with others. This Manager will also need to possess prior bartending experience. The Manager will assist the General Manager and work closely with the Chef as well.
The full-time position will consist of 40-50 hours per week depending on scheduling created with applicant. The Applicant can either function as just a Manager or elect to manage and have 1 bar shift per week. The Manager hours will be paid at the rate of $25 per hour. The bartending shifts will be paid the tipped minimum wage + any tips made during the shift. Depending on schedule built with Manager it would be expected compensation would be in the range of $55,000-65,000. *Please not that this job will require interaction with a large number of neighborhood families with small children. If you don't like children this job will not be a good fit.
