The Global Security - Security Specialist is responsible for carrying out system administration and technical duties on facility access control systems in line with industry standards to ensure operational and system integrations globally. The position carries responsibilities for maintaining CrowdStrike’s security program and access control systems to reduce security vulnerabilities by enforcing formalized security processes, policies, and procedures for personnel and facilities. The Global Security - Security Specialist works under the Director of Global Security, and with department personnel across CrowdStrike’s enterprise. The position consists primarily of internal company relationships, with some external vendor communications. You must have a passion for physical security processes, technology, and complex systems. You must be able to demonstrate extensive experience, knowledge, skills and abilities directly related to Physical Protection Systems (PPS) - system administration, network vulnerabilities, network maintenance, access control and Video Surveillance Systems (VSS) platforms, security expansion and build design, and physical office security. The position also requires on-site office work a minimum of three days per week. Due to the nature of the work, the position may require additional work hours during an incident, crisis, or event; up to and including nights and weekends. Responsibilities include facilitating CrowdStrike’s facility security and access control program, administering personnel security including processing access control requests, supporting employee security briefings, identifying and informing management of issues and risks, developing documentation such as policies and procedures, facilitating and communicating access control and VSS programs, reviewing and updating access control methods, ensuring inoperable security systems are documented and serviced, supporting problem resolution processes, monitoring camera feeds globally, coordinating with networking and IT departments, preparing logs and reports, securing understanding of security among personnel, creating and processing facility access accounts, and removing access for terminated employees. Additional duties as assigned.
