The Head Of Ecommerce is a key member of MoMA Design Store's omnichannel efforts and leads all aspects of the ecommerce business including the sales, profitability, and user experience. This includes managing and coaching a staff on ecommerce best practices, setting goals from marketing to operations, KPI's and standards across the customer lifecycle and experience. This role co-owns with Director of Stores omnichannel efforts to drive customer satisfaction and improved CLTV. Reporting into the General Manager of Retail and with full P&L responsibility for ecommerce and all performance marketing, this individual will leverage the existing business assets of the Museum and retail stores to drive significant growth of the business over the next few years, increase adoption of omni-channel thinking and execution across our channels, as well as educate and infuse digital thinking across all areas of the organization.
We are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial, pragmatic leader, capable of delivering results in a traditional corporate environment and who understands the basic principles of content, site merchandising, site optimization, catalog creation & production, direct and digital acquisition and retention marketing.
