Job Description Job Description Be your own boss as an independent sub-contractor or driver associate delivering USPS mail. We are a national prime contractor that provides the USPS with rural mail delivery services. In each area, our employee drivers or contracted drivers work independently on a dedicated mail route. A typical day on your dedicated route begins arriving at the USPS, sorting and casing your mail for preparation of delivery, loading the mail, and delivering it to each specific address along the required line of travel. Our couriers deliver using right-hand drive Jeeps or Sprinter vans. We are hiring for a delivery route in Camp Verde, AZ. This route is 28.3 miles delivering to 439 boxes. This is scheduled to run 6 days a week, M-SAT. The daily start time is 0730 and is scheduled to be completed before 14:32 PM. We are hiring driver employees or interested sub-contractors to independently run this route. Interested Potential Employees can expect wages & benefits to total $23.87 per hour. Interested Potential Subcontractors can apply to further discuss subcontract rates starting at $62,000 annually.  You will have to pass a postal background check with the USPS inspection service. This requirement would be your responsibility. Qualifications 1. live in US for a minimum of 5 years. 2. 2 years of driving experience with a license, not a permit. 3. Pre-employment Drug Test 4. No criminal history within the last 10 years. 5. A clean driving record for the past 5 years (7year driving record required) 6. If a male born after 1959 will require a selective service number. 7. Legally allowed to work in the US. Duties: - Deliver mail and packages to assigned routes - Sort and organize mail and packages for efficient delivery - Drive company vehicles, such as vans or trucks, to transport mail and packages - Follow established routes and schedules for timely delivery - Collect signatures and payments when required - Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues Experience: - Previous experience as a mail carrier, courier, or in a similar role is preferred - Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems - Knowledge of warehouse operations and loading/unloading procedures is a plus Please note that this position may require lifting heavy packages, walking long distances, and working in various weather conditions.
