Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Aurora, OH

Pay Rate: $30.71 / hr 12 Months

Start Date: Immediate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple external suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and track project critical path, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for timely and effective project execution.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Monitor and analyze project performance to ensure successful achievement of short- and long-term goals.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential project risks.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Foster a collaborative, productive, and motivated team environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in project management.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency with project management software tools such as MS Project, Asana, Jira, or Trello.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience working with material testing laboratories.
  • Experience managing automation projects.
  • Agile/Scrum certification or relevant experience.
  • Budget management and financial forecasting skills.
