Mission Critical / Data Center Construction

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to join a leading electrical subcontractor delivering large-scale data center construction projects in the Dallas region. This is a key position ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance on complex mission critical projects.

You will be responsible for driving a strong safety culture across site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives while ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage site-specific Safety programs for data center construction projects
  • Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments; ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly
  • Lead and facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations, client safety standards, and company policies
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses; prepare reports and support root cause analysis
  • Collaborate with project leadership, field teams, and subcontractors to maintain a safe work environment
  • Maintain accurate records of safety performance, training, and incident reports

Required Experience & Qualifications:

5+ years of safety management experience in construction environments (electrical and/or mission critical projects preferred)

Experience supporting large-scale data center or mission critical projects is highly desirable

OSHA 500 certification required (or equivalent high-level safety certification)

Additional certifications such as OSHA 510, CHST, CSP, or First Aid/CPR Instructor certifications are a plus

Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA 70E, and other applicable codes/regulations

Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to engage at all levels of the project

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
