Commute long distances in vehicle

3. Monitoring contractors
Ensure understanding of and compliance with MMS and client policies
Follow all regulation and guidelines of SMS, MMS, USCG, OSHA and contractor

Conduct safety meetings
Audit job safety analyses and permits (JSA)
Track items on Safety Technician reports
Identify safety hazards and provide interventions to eliminate or reduce hazards
Track behavior-based safety procedures
5. Miscellaneous
Handle and operate fire hoses, hand portable and wheeled fire extinguishers
Obtain all certifications required for Safety Technician
