Software Systems Engineer - IV-JAVA & Hadoop Developer Contract America Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions provider for companies in the industrial, manufacturing, and waste management sectors. We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management. Our founders are experienced telecommunications engineers with over 200 years of combined experience in designing, optimizing, and performance engineering for major wireless carriers worldwide. They identified the need to provide low-power, cost-efficient sensors for data collection, alerts, and predictive actions. We integrate these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to help clients reduce recurring costs associated with IoT networks. We specialize in designing, deploying, optimizing, and supporting these networks. Whether off-the-shelf or custom solutions are required, we create tailored solutions and deploy data on the most suitable cloud platforms, including client-specific options. Role: JAVA & Hadoop Developer Metrics generation and presentation using modern reporting tools Design and develop data modules to convert raw data into formats suitable for reporting and data mining Assist in enabling real-time analytics with advanced big data technologies Perform data analysis to identify issues Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience At least four years of relevant experience Experience with Data Warehousing Technologies Reporting skills: Design and develop OLAP modules (Cubes) and experience with reporting tools like Tableau Data handling skills: Strong SQL skills, exposure to Teradata and its tools Big Data (Hadoop) skills: Experience with Hive, Pig, MapReduce, HBase; knowledge of Kafka/Storm data pipelines; experience with NoSQL databases; development experience in Java, Python, Ruby, or Scala #J-18808-Ljbffr AmNet Services, Inc.
