Job Description

DESCRIPTION

The Fire TV Marketing team is seeking a customer-obsessed, analytical, and detail-oriented entrepreneurial leader to drive content strategy and programming across the UI for our key streaming categories. This role is intrinsically cross-functional as you will partner with global sales, marketing, product management, public relations, finance and legal teams to develop and execute product marketing strategies in world-wide.

Fire TV is one of the top selling streaming media players in the US, Germany, and the UK. Our selection of apps available on the device is growing daily, and we’re looking for a product marketing manager to raise the bar on the content discovery and engagement experience on Fire TV. In this role, you’ll build a deep understanding of Fire TV customers along with the apps available on Fire TV, and you’ll find new ways to surface content to millions of Fire TV customers based on these insights.

Key job responsibilities
• Own the on-device marketing strategy and implementation for key Fire TV content categories.
• Identify key customer segments and create lifecycle journeys to drive acquisition, retention and engagement.
• Develop compelling positioning and messaging that resonates with target customers.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, PR, Sales and Creative teams on go-to-market for new products/features.
• Lead GTM for large integrated marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels.
• Lead competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities and threats.
• Deep dive into category performance and present action plan in weekly/monthly business reviews.
• Define success metrics and build measurement frameworks to track performance.
• Develop frameworks and SOPs to optimize content across different streaming providers.
• Manage relationships with Fire TV, Amazon and third-party teams.

A day in the life
You will work closely with partner marketing and product teams to develop global content category experiences, identifying key customer segments and creating journeys through the UI. You will leverage customer insights, performance data and A/B testing to influence the UI design, improving discovery and adoption of healthy streaming behaviors. You will enhance efficiency and automation of our marketing placements, creating frameworks and SOPs that optimize impression allocation across Fire TV, Amazon and third-party content providers. You’ll have an eye for compelling content and CX, an aptitude for cross-functional partnership, and a passion for testing. The successful candidate will have strong experience in building and testing strategy, sharing results with stakeholders and driving implementation. He or she will have first-class written and verbal communication skills, the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines, top-notch organizational skills, experience managing expectations and dependencies, and the ability to see and show results with data.

About the team
Fire TV Marketing team’s mission is to delight customers with engaging on-device experiences. We build strategies that lead to long-term on-device success through accelerating engagement and monetization, as measured by growing our active customer base, device usage and financials (ad revenue and subscriptions). By nurturing our relationships with Fire TV customers, we contribute to the flywheels for Prime, Advertising, and Alexa. As part of this, we are responsible for developing, testing and rolling out innovative ways to get the most relevant content in front of customers. Our vision is to find new and better ways to bring customers the content they love and want—and make it easy to discover new content they might not have heard of yet.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
