**Job Title: Welder and Fabricator** **Job Description** Layout, fit, fabricates and assembles components for Heat Processing Equipment. Work includes assembly, dismantling and repair activity. **Responsibilities** + Layout, position, align and fit components together. + Clamp and tack weld parts to secure proper positioning for welding. + Set up equipment and weld parts using Stick, ARC or MIG welding techniques, as well as TIG and alloy welding techniques as needed. + Assemble parts by welding and riveting methods, ensuring structures are square and level. + Perform tasks with sheet metal, fabricate oven panels, including sheet metal, spot weld, and application of insulating materials. + Perform tasks such as welding, cutting, and grinding on plate and structural steel. + Repair or modify products through dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembly. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in Stick, ARC, MIG, and TIG welding techniques. + 5-10 years of experience in welding and fabrication. + Ability to pass a weld and quick math test. + Experience bending metal and cutting angles. + Experience working with structural steel 1/4"+ gauge thick. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Fabrication is the main skill set. + Certification is not required. **Why Work Here?** Work in a dynamic manufacturing environment where your skills are valued and developed. Candidates must have work boots (steel toe not required). The position involves 25% welding, with the remaining time spent fabricating, building, prepping material, and installing insulation. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chino, California. Pay starts at $24 and we can negotiate up to $28+ depending on experience. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
