School Yard Supervisor
for the 2025-2026 School Year

Serving a diverse community of over 600 students from Kindergarten – 8th grade, our teachers collaborate with each other to educate our students to a high standard, in both academics and character. St. Matthew’s has a supportive parish community, and community of school parents, who partner with us in forming saints and scholars. We have a multitude of resources available to support all staff and to set up ALL faculty and staff for success. We are a double class school. The school yard supervisor could be a stepping stone to an Instructional Aide role. 

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree
• Willingness to embrace the Catholic values and traditions of Saint Matthew Catholic School
• Enthusiasm for teamwork, collaboration, and collective efficacy
• Excellent communication skills

​​​​​​​ Responsibilities:

• Support Saint Matthew Catholic School’s mission, philosophy, and SLE’s
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, students, and parents
• Oversee student activities during daily recess and lunch periods
• Assist in the School Office by managing Parent Volunteer attendance for Lunch Duty via Appointment Plus
• Monitor parent attendance for traffic and lunch/yard duty via Appointment Plus and correspond through email for any missed assignments
• Contribute to establishing and maintaining a secure, pleasant, and orderly environment
• Ensure continuous supervision of students, adhering to rules, procedures, and expectations
• Occasionally assist in the school office

Salary & Benefits:

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt position.
Salary: $20.00-$25.00 depending on experience and resume
